Wernle Youth & Family Treatment Center is a family focused, child centered agency providing opportunities for the growth, development and treatment of troubled children and their families - individually, interpersonally, and socially - through strengths-based, trauma informed programming.

Our agency seeks to fill the following positions:

 

Direct Care Staff - Full time and Part Time Positions

(Starting pay $11.00/hour. Consideration will be given for related experience and education. 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am) 

Provides leadership and supports implementation of the treatment plan for each resident to address the complex psychiatric, emotional, sexual and behavioral issues coupled with poor impulse control, poor social skills, and deficient coping skills, requiring a highly structured treatment milieu in compliance with COA standards and state, federal, agency and all other applicable rules and regulations. LPN (12 Hour shifts, 10am-10pm)

Maintain day to day operations of health services department to ensure treatment provisions of residents(adolescents, ages 6-21) as prescribed by consulting physicians, ensuring compliance with COA standards, state and federal , and other applicable regulations along with Wernle Youth and Family Treatment Center policies and procedures.  Click here for a full job description.

Clinical Director

Responsible for overseeing, developing, maintaining, and evaluating Clinical department programs to ensure appropriate admissions and service delivery and to meet Wernle’s goal of providing the highest quality of care to youth and families. Serves as an active participant of the agency’s leadership team. Provides supervision and training to Therapists, Case Managers and Director of Nursing in addition to carrying a share of the caseload. Maintains compliance with COA standards; state, federal and other applicable regulations, and Wernle Youth & Family Treatment Center policies and procedures. Meridian Behavioral Clinician

Provides clinincal casework and group work services to clients and their families in some or all of the following areas: interview, assess, counsel, and evaluate clients, prepares and implements treatment and case management plans, maintains written case records, reports and forms, performs case follow-up and closing.  Click here  for a full job description.

Therapist 

Wernle Youth and Family Treatment Center is seeking a qualified candidate for a part-time, salaried position, or a full-time or part-time contractual position, providing outpatient/home-based service for individual, group, and family therapy. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting comprehensive Bio-Psycho-Social assessments of children and adolescents, risk assessments, and in developing detailed treatment plans and behavior interventions. Meridian Program Manager

Provides clinical casework, and group work services to clients and their families. Participates in the development, implementation, supervision and on going evaluation of all residential treatment, including therapeutic and behavior management, and programming. Lead Case Manager

Housekeeper

Perform regular housekeeping duties for offices and common area buildings on campus, including administration, wellness center, and apartments. Manage the clothing room, including receipt and distribution of clothing. Order, maintain and distribute cleaning supplies and toiletries. Program Team Leader

Primary responsibility is management of the residential unit, including directing the work of youth counselors, in the absence of the program manager. Provides daily supervision and care for residents as prescribed by programming and individual treatment plans. Performs various leadership and support functions, including providing direction to unit staff in the absence of the program manager. Assists in the training and development of residential staff and makes recommendations in employment and disciplinary issues. Recreation Specialist
