Welcome to the Red Brick

Red Brick

The Red Brick Building (Main Building) houses the administrative departments of Wernle Children's Home, Inc. This includes CEO, Operations, Finance Department, Information Technologies, Development Department, Admissions, Residential Coordinator, Clinical Department, and Quality Assurance. This building was built, starting in 1907 and finished in 1909, on the same site as the original building that was destroyed by fire in or about 1906.

The Red Brick or Main Building is where all the children lived until the 1960's. Staff lived on campus and provided care for the children in the days preceding the construction of the current residential halls.

Above are some pictures of the interior of the Red Brick, the first is our book case (second floor) for Catalyst for Change and other awards earned and given by Wernle Children's Home and Staff. The second is a view of the waiting area (first floor) for our admissions department, Third is a view of the main hallway looking from the front door (first floor).
